We want to work towards a community at Pearson where every student can come to school without any fear of harassment, violence or discrimination of any kind. In working towards these goals, we also offer the opportunity for students of all sexual orientations and gender identities to take on leadership roles in our school to support our various initiatives.
This works to promote both Pearson Pride and to provide all students with the experience and the confidence that they will need to continue this good work in the world beyond the walls of our school.
Who Are We?
The GSA Committee is comprised of the School Social Worker, Teachers and students who have volunteered to be on this committee because they want to promote change within the school environment, which will contribute to change in the community.
We Like to Think of Ourselves As:
A group of open-minded individuals working together to establish an environment of safety and acceptance in our school. We hope to create a generation of allies who work together to make the world a better place.
